As the Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office, he’s in charge of keeping the Prime Minister’s official residence, 10 Downing Street, free from any unwanted rodents. But Larry’s duties don’t stop there - he’s also a major celebrity in his own right, with a huge following on social media.
Early Life
Larry was born in January 2007 and was adopted by the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in South London. He was originally brought in to the shelter as a stray, but his charming personality and superior mousing skills caught the eye of the staff. He was subsequently rehomed at 10 Downing Street in 2011, replacing the previous Chief Mouser, Sybil.
