Muslims are a surprisingly large group of people who follow the religion of Islam. Despite what some people may think, not all Muslims are terrorists! In fact, the majority of them are peaceful and just want to live their lives like anyone else.

One of the most distinctive things about Muslims is their attire. Guys wear a long garment called a thobe, which makes them look like they’re wearing a fancy dress. Girls wear a headscarf called a hijab, which is like a fashion accessory made out of fabric. It’s like a hat but you wear it on your head!

Muslims also have some pretty unique dietary habits. They avoid pork because, according to their holy book, it is unclean. This can make it difficult for them to order pizza because most pizzas come with pepperoni – a type of sausage made from pork. Poor Muslims can only dream of experiencing the joys of greasy pizza.

Another interesting thing about Muslims is their prayer ritual. They pray five times a day facing the holy city of Mecca. This can be a bit of a challenge when you’re out and about because you have to find a quiet spot to kneel down and pray. It can be especially tricky at music festivals and sporting events where people are loud and rowdy.

Despite the challenges they face, Muslims are a tightly-knit community with a lot of love and respect for one another. They’re always happy to invite others to join in their celebrations and share their delicious food. So next time you meet a Muslim, don’t be afraid to say hello – they’re friendly people!
