T-Series

T-Series is a popular music record label and film production company from India. Founded in 1983 by Gulshan Kumar, it has become one of the biggest players in the music industry, with a staggering 175 million subscribers on its YouTube channel.

The company is known for its catchy Bollywood songs and music videos, which have captured the hearts of millions of fans around the world. In fact, if you listen closely, you can hear the sound of T-Series music blasting from every corner of India, from the bustling streets of Mumbai to the tranquil hills of Darjeeling.

But T-Series is not just about music. The company has also ventured into film production, with hits like “Aashiqui 2” and “Tumhari Sulu”. And just like its music, T-Series films are known for their larger-than-life characters, over-the-top action scenes, and of course, the mandatory song-and-dance sequence.

Despite its massive success, T-Series has not been without its share of controversies. In 2019, it became embroiled in a highly publicized feud with PewDiePie, a popular YouTuber and reigning king of the platform.

The feud began when PewDiePie’s fans, who call themselves the “9-year-old army”, started a campaign to help PewDiePie stay ahead of T-Series in the race for the most-subscribed YouTube channel. But try as they might, the 9-year-old army was no match for the loyal T-Series fans, who rallied behind their favorite music label to take the top spot.

In the end, T-Series emerged victorious, and PewDiePie graciously accepted defeat. But not before making a few choice jokes about T-Series, including calling them “T-Gay” and questioning the authenticity of their subscribers.

Despite the setback, PewDiePie remains a fan of T-Series music, and has even collaborated with Indian musicians like Jatin-Lalit for his own content.

So there you have it – T-Series, the music label and film production company that’s taking the world by storm, one catchy Bollywood song at a time.
