Augustus would consume whole bars of chocolate at a time, and by the age of 10, he was already noticeably overweight.

Rise to Fame

Tragic End

Sadly, Augustus’ visit to the chocolate factory was cut short when he fell into Willy Wonka’s chocolate river and was sucked up by a pipe. Despite the best efforts of the Oompa Loompas and Wonka himself to rescue him, Augustus was irretrievably stuck and had to be taken away by the Great Glass Elevator.
