Elon Musk: The Master of All Trades

Elon Musk is a South African-born American entrepreneur, visionary, inventor, and engineer who has managed to take the business world by storm. With a net worth estimated at over $100 billion, Musk is often referred to as the Tony Stark of our world. Musk’s first real company was PayPal, which makes sense since he definitely seems like the kind of guy who would have a swiss bank account in his basement. As of writing this, Musk has not yet figured out how to make space travel so expensive that only rich people can afford it, but we’re sure it’s just a matter of time. 

If SpaceX weren’t already enough, Musk had enough energy left to start Tesla Motors, a car company that makes electric vehicles so trendy even hippies want one. Musk’s vision of creating a world powered entirely from renewable energy reminds us of the theme song from Captain Planet. In the words of all seven of the Earth’s major land masses - go, planet!  

Musk is known for embracing cutting-edge technology in his companies, from reusable rockets to self-driving cars. His vision of AI is simple yet daunting: make sure the robots don’t kill us all. The good news is that even if they do, he’s probably already managed to move to Mars.

It’s inspiring to think of someone like Musk, who has achieved so much. One can imagine Musk waking up every morning and thinking to himself, “What’s next? Oh yes, putting a colony on Mars.” As humans, it’s important that we learn from people like Elon Musk, who remind us that no goal is too high or impossible, as long as you’re willing to put in the work and have an army of engineers.
