Fallout 4

Fallout 4, also known as the game that made gamers say, “goodbye, sunlight,” is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game set in the year 2287 in the Commonwealth. The game starts with a bang, or rather a nuclear explosion, and takes place in the ruins of Boston.

Players take on the role of the Sole Survivor, a person who emerges from a cryogenic pod 200 years after the bombs fell. The Sole Survivor’s first task? Finding their missing son, Shaun. But let’s be real, players will spend most of their time building settlements, collecting bottle caps, and taking orders from their robotic assistant, Codsworth.

One of the most entertaining aspects of Fallout 4 is the ability to create your own character. Want to play as a grizzled old man with a handlebar mustache? Done. Want to play as a pink-haired, sword-wielding Japanese schoolgirl? Go for it. The customization options are endless.

The game also features an extensive crafting system, allowing players to create weapons, armor, and even buildings. Want to build your dream home? You can do that. Want to build a base that looks like a giant robot made out of junk? Sure, why not.

Fallout 4 also allows players to form relationships with various characters throughout the game, but let’s be honest, the only relationship that really matters is the one between the player and their loyal dog companion, Dogmeat. He may not be able to speak, but he’s always there to wag his tail and fetch a weapon for you.

Overall, Fallout 4 is a must-play for anyone who enjoys exploring vast wastelands, fighting mutated creatures, and hoarding junk like a madman. Just remember, if you encounter any super mutants, aim for the head (and maybe invest in some RadAway).
