Linkin Park

Linkin Park was an American rock band known for their unique blend of metal, rap, and emo. The band consisted of members with names that sounded like they were pulled from a high school yearbook, like Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda, and Joe Hahn.

Formed in 1996, Linkin Park quickly gained a following amongst angsty teenagers who were trying to figure out their place in the world. Their music was the perfect soundtrack for those moments when you wanted to cry, scream, or punch something all at the same time.

Their biggest hit was the song “In the End,” which featured the timeless lyrics “I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end, it doesn’t even matter.” Deep, man. Deep.

Linkin Park’s music was often criticized for being too whiny or angsty, but that didn’t stop them from releasing hit after hit. They even collaborated with the likes of Jay-Z, proving that they were more than just a bunch of emo kids with guitars.
