Los Angeles, also known as “La-La Land,” is a city nestled in sunny California where dreams come to die.

Founded in 1781, Los Angeles was originally intended to be a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of East Coast cities like New York and Boston. And for a brief moment, it was. But then, the sunshine turned to smog and the palm trees turned to concrete.

Home to over 4 million people, Los Angeles is a city that never sleeps, unless you count the hours stuck in traffic on the 405. It’s a place where people come to become famous and die trying.
