Mount Everest

Mount Everest is a giant rock sitting on the border of Nepal and Tibet, like a grumpy old man who refuses to pick a side in any argument. It is also the highest point on Earth, which is a pretty impressive feat, all things considered.

While typically recognized for its stunning views and treacherous terrain, Mount Everest has a lesser-known reputation as the world’s most exclusive nightclub. The cover charge alone is enough to leave even the richest of billionaires feeling a little broke, and the dress code is notoriously strict (think lots of layers and lots of oxygen).

Of course, getting into the club is only half the battle. The club’s bouncers are notoriously unforgiving, and will not hesitate to turn you away for even the slightest misstep. One misstep could mean tumbling down the mountain like a snowball in hell.

Others have not been so lucky, falling victim to the mountain’s unpredictable weather patterns and its propensity for surprise avalanches. In fact, Everest has claimed so many lives that some argue it should come with a warning label, like a pack of cigarettes.

But for those brave enough to take the risk, the reward is almost too incredible to put into words. The sense of accomplishment that comes from summiting Everest is said to be unmatched, like winning the lottery while also being able to breathe through your nose.

So, while Mount Everest may not be for everyone, it remains an awe-inspiring force to be reckoned with. Whether you choose to climb it, admire it from afar, or use it as a backdrop for your Instagram selfies, one thing is for sure: this mountain isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
