Norma: The Enlightened Goddess of Mundanity
Norma is a deity like no other. She is the goddess of mundanity, the patron saint of the boring and the mundane. She’s the kind of deity that you might find snoring on a couch, binging on Netflix, with a bag of chips in hand or dancing to elevator music at the office Christmas party.
Despite her lack of excitement, Norma commands the respect and admiration of many. No one has ever been as comfortable or at ease with the mundane as Norma. She can sit for hours, staring at a blank wall, without so much as batting an eyelash. Her mind, you see, is attuned to the most mundane of activities.
While some deities may concern themselves with the grand and the dramatic, Norma is concerned with the small and the simple. She revels in the sound of a fan whirring, in the joy of watching paint dry, and in the thrill of filling out forms.
It’s not always been easy for Norma, however. Her followers have been known to doze off mid-prayer, and clergy members have been spotted snoring in the pulpit during Norma’s sermons. Some have even mistaken her as a mere mortal, who happens to be extremely good at being boring.
But, the beauty of Norma is in her simplicity. She brings peace to chaos, calm to stress, and her followers know that whenever they need to escape the hustle and bustle of life, she’ll be there to help them embrace their boring side.
So, let us all take a moment to appreciate the goddess of mundanity, the queen of serenity, and the icon of boredom. Norma, we salute you!
