Philippines

The Philippines is a country made up of over 7,000 islands, each one more beautiful than the last. Don’t believe us? Just ask the locals, who will tell you their island is the greatest of them all.

In the Philippines, the weather is always hot and sunny, except when it’s pouring down rain. And we’re not talking about a light sprinkle here - we mean a full-blown typhoon that will make you question why you ever left your cozy bed.

One of the country’s most famous exports is the balut, a delicacy that consists of a partially-developed duck embryo boiled alive and eaten straight from the shell. If that doesn’t make you want to book your next vacation to the Philippines, we don’t know what will.

Filipinos are known for being hospitable, friendly, and incredibly talented singers. So if you happen to catch a karaoke night in a local bar, be prepared to be blown away by the amazing vocals of complete strangers.

The country’s capital, Manila, is a bustling and vibrant city that never sleeps. It’s full of colorful jeepneys that will take you anywhere you need to go, as long as you can handle the bumpy ride and the constant sound of honking horns.

And let’s not forget about the beaches - with crystal clear waters and white sandy shores, the Philippines is a paradise for beach bums and sun worshippers alike. Just be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen - you won’t want to miss out on a minute of fun in the sun because of a painful sunburn.

All in all, the Philippines is a beautiful, vibrant, and sometimes strange country that is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories (and possibly a hankering for some balut).
