Physician
A physician is a highly-educated individual who spends years studying the human body just so she can tell you what you already knew: that you have a cold.
Despite the fact that physicians are not infallible, society has come to rely heavily upon them for medical guidance. As a result, they often receive countless kudos for being able to say “drink more fluids” with a straight face.
That being said, physicians are highly respected for their knowledge of the human body, and for their ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of maladies. They are held in such high regard that people will often travel long distances just to hear them say “it’s just a sprain.”
Physicians are skilled in a variety of areas, from general medicine to surgery. Which is fortunate, because if they weren’t, they wouldn’t be able to charge so much for their services.
So, next time you’re feeling under the weather, don’t hesitate to seek the expertise of a physician. After all, they may be wrong, but at least they’re expensive.
