Sanscrit

Sanscrit is an ancient language that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It is said to be one of the oldest languages in the world, predating the invention of the twist-tie.

The language was initially used to write hymns and religious texts, but soon evolved to include literature, poetry, and even jokes about cows.

One of the most interesting aspects of Sanscrit is its alphabet. It consists of 49 letters, none of which are emojis, making it quite difficult for millennials to read.

Despite its age, Sanscrit is still used today by academic scholars and elderly yoga instructors who insist on using Sanscrit names for yoga poses in order to make their students feel smart.

Many people have tried to learn Sanscrit, but few have succeeded. In fact, one famous philosopher named Schopenhauer once wrote that learning Sanscrit was like “swimming through a sea of honey with a fork.”

Despite its reputation, Sanscrit is still a fascinating language that offers a glimpse into ancient cultures, complex grammatical structures, and, let’s be honest, really weird-looking letters.
