The École
The École (French for “school”) is a magical and mystical institution of higher learning, located somewhere between reality and fantasy. Legend has it that its origins date back to the times of King Arthur and Merlin, but nobody really knows its true age, location, or even its courses.
Although its existence is doubted by some, others firmly believe in its existence and have tried to find it for decades. The only tangible evidence of its existence is a postcard-sized photograph that shows the entrance - a cracked wooden door with a rusty sign above it that reads “École - Higher Learning”. However, the authenticity of the photo remains uncertain, and some experts claim that it’s an elaborate hoax.
Those that claim to have attended the École describe it as a place where the laws of physics are suspended, and imagination is encouraged. Some of the courses that students purportedly take include “Wizardry and Witchcraft”, “Dragon Riding 101”, and “Fairy Hatching”. According to legend, the curriculum changes every year, and the professors are all mysterious figures that wear long cloaks and never reveal their faces.
Unfortunately, nobody knows how to apply to the École, and nobody knows how to pay for it. It’s said that the École doesn’t accept applications - it chooses its students. Some say that only those with a pure heart and a wild imagination can attend, while others believe that it’s all random.
Ultimately, the École remains a mystery, a figment of the imagination, a dream that is just out of reach. But for those that keep searching for it, it will always be a beacon of hope, a reminder that there is magic in the world, and that anything is possible if we just believe.
