The Incredibles
The Incredibles is a fictional family of superheroes first introduced to the world in 2004. The family consists of Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet, and Jack-Jack.
Mr. Incredible, aka Robert Parr, possesses incredible strength and durability. He’s so impressive in his abilities, in fact, that you’d think he could bench press cars and buildings with ease. Sadly, his feats of superhuman strength are sometimes thwarted by everyday objects like sticky doors that he just can’t seem to open.
Elastigirl, aka Helen Parr, has the unique ability to stretch her body like a rubber band. Her extraordinary stretchiness is often very useful, like when she needs to grab something that’s just out of reach or when she needs to stretch across a chasm to save her family. However, being stretchy also has its downsides. For instance, she can hardly drink a cup of tea gracefully as it always ends up all over her face.
Dash, aka Dashiell Parr, has super-speed, which allows him to move at nearly unimaginable speeds. He can run circles around his enemies and dodge incoming projectiles with ease. Unfortunately, his powers also make him a bit impatient, and like any pre-teen, he just wants to get to the end of the movie quick!
Violet Parr has the ability to become invisible and create force fields. Her powers are fantastic for evading trouble and keeping herself and others out of harm’s way. However, sometimes she turns invisible without even realising it and scares people around her!
And last but not least, Jack-Jack Parr. Jack-Jack is the youngest and the most elusive member of the family because no one knows for sure what his powers are. One moment, he’s shooting eye lasers and the next, he’s transforming into an alligator. But he is definitely a baby who is difficult to handle since he keeps crying for no apparent reasons and can start throwing objects anytime.
So there you have it, the incredible family of superheroes. With all their incredible skills and quirks, they’ve saved the world from danger and allowed us all to believe in the impossible.
