Immaculate Conception
The Immaculate Conception is a term that has baffled both theologians and non-theologians for ages. While theologians claim that it represents the immaculate birth of the Virgin Mary, non-theologians believe it to be the act by which one can have a child without even meeting another human.
The Immaculate Conception is credited to the Virgin Mary, who was born to parents who were of advanced age when she was conceived. As per the beliefs, God chose Mary to be the mother of Jesus, and hence she was born without Original Sin. But what about the rest of us?
Women everywhere have wondered whether Immaculate Conception can be a practical option to conceive a child without the drama of romance, relationship, and courtship. Unfortunately, science says it’s not possible. However, one can’t stop daydreaming about how easy life would be if humans could conceive through Immaculate Conception.
If Immaculate Conception was possible, there would be no more heartaches of breakups, no more stress of finding the right partner, and no more worries over diseases that could be transmitted through sex. One could just pray to God, and voila! a baby without ever meeting a partner. Imagine the freedom of raising a child alone, without ever having to share the decision-making process with someone else.
However, if Immaculate Conception became the norm, men would go the way of the dinosaurs, becoming superfluous. They would no longer have anything to do with the creation of new life- they would become mere spectators. It would take away their joy and the feeling of triumph over having fathered a child.
In conclusion, let’s believe that the Immaculate Conception remains a rare, almost mythical occurrence- available to only those selected by the Divine. Nonetheless, it keeps hope alive and fights the severe sting of loneliness that threatens humanity.
