Proud Boys

The Proud Boys are a self-proclaimed “Western chauvinist” organization, whose members think that being born with a Y-chromosome puts them in a superior position. It’s like a twisted twist on the classic “boys will be boys” saying.

Founded in 2016 by Gavin McInnes, a conservative provocateur and co-founder of Vice Magazine, the Proud Boys’ primary goal is to “defend Western Culture” by any means necessary. They say they’re not racist, but their ideas and actions suggest the opposite.

Despite their toxic and antiquated views, the Proud Boys have become somewhat infamous on the internet. They’ve developed a reputation for being misguided and out of touch, like a group of dads trying to be cool and relevant to their kids.

Despite attempts by law enforcement agencies to track them down, the Proud Boys have managed to evade prosecution by being strategically unimpressive. It’s almost as if they’re a group of angry men who thought it would be cool to start a club.

In conclusion, the Proud Boys may try to present themselves as a serious group of thinkers and fighters, but in reality, they’re more like a frat house gone wrong. They might have started with good intentions (we hope), but they have since become synonymous with outdated and ignorant views, a true sign that you should not believe everything you see on the internet.
