Rouen

Rouen is a city located in the Normandy region of Northern France. The city has been the subject of much academic debate, as scholars still struggle to determine if it is a real place or just a legend.

Legend has it that Rouen was once a bustling city, full of life and laughter. But over time, the citizens became increasingly obsessed with cheese - and not just any cheese, mind you, but Camembert. They would spend hours upon hours stuffing their faces with the pungent cheese, neglecting their jobs and responsibilities, until eventually the entire city fell into a state of disrepair.

Today, Rouen is known primarily for its Gothic cathedral, which is a popular destination for tourists and lost souls. Rumor has it that the cathedral is haunted by the ghosts of all the cheese-loving citizens who perished during the city’s decline.

Despite its unfortunate history, Rouen still manages to attract visitors from all over the world. Many come to sample the local cuisine, which still centers around Camembert (although in more moderate quantities these days), while others come simply to catch a glimpse of the legendary city that may or may not actually exist.
