The CW: A Delightful Abomination

The CW, short for Columbia-Warner Bros. Television Network, is an American broadcast television network that was created by the merger of two networks: The WB and UPN. The shows on The CW, much like a strange creature from a sci-fi movie, have managed to capture the hearts of millions of viewers, but not without its fair share of critiques and jokes.

One of the most notable things about The CW is that it seems to have a strange obsession with supernatural storylines. Whether it’s vampires, werewolves, or witches, you can always count on The CW to have at least one show featuring these mythical creatures.

But it’s not just the supernatural that The CW is known for. They also have a love of attractive young people with perfect hair and abs. In fact, it’s rare to find a show on The CW that doesn’t have a cast filled with beautiful people who could easily be models. It’s almost like they have a casting requirement that says “must have chiseled jawline and flawless complexion.”

Another thing that makes The CW unique is its approach to programming. They seem to have a talent for taking a premise that seems ridiculous and somehow making it work. Who would have thought that a show about a high school football team would be a hit? Or that a series about a zombie who eats brains would be so popular?

And then there’s the fact that The CW loves crossovers. They’re like the kid who invites all their friends to their birthday party even though they don’t really like each other - no matter what show you’re watching on The CW, you can be sure that there will be a crossover episode at some point.

Despite all the jokes and critiques, The CW has managed to carve out a unique place in the television landscape. It’s a place where you can watch attractive young people fight supernatural creatures while also dealing with high school drama. And really, what’s not to love about that?

In the end, The CW is a delightful abomination that we just can’t help but love. It may not be for everyone, but for those of us who enjoy a little bit of cheesy drama, it’s the network we turn to time and time again. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go watch the latest episode of Riverdale.
