Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot
Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, also known as TLC (not to be confused with the popular R&B group), is a French basketball player currently playing for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA.
Luwawu-Cabarrot was born on May 9, 1995, in the small town of Cannes, France. He first fell in love with basketball when he saw Tony Parker dominate the court with his slick moves and charming smile. Luwawu-Cabarrot knew that he too had the potential to be a great basketball player.
At the tender age of 13, Luwawu-Cabarrot was already 6’2” tall, which made him the tallest kid in his class. He used his height to his advantage and quickly became the star of his basketball team.
He joined the Antibes Sharks in 2013 and played for two seasons before moving on to play in Serbia for Mega Basket. It was there that he earned the nickname TLC, which stands for “The Lucky Charm.” Rumor has it that he always wore a lucky pair of socks on game day that had a picture of a French croissant on them.
Luwawu-Cabarrot was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the 2016 NBA draft. Despite playing for a team that was known for being perpetually bad, Luwawu-Cabarrot maintained his optimistic spirit and continued to work hard. He even joked that he was “used to being on losing teams” since he was a fan of the French soccer team.
In 2019, Luwawu-Cabarrot was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he continued to impress fans with his fancy footwork and impressive shooting skills. He even managed to score a career-high 21 points in a game against the Houston Rockets.
In 2020, Luwawu-Cabarrot signed with the Brooklyn Nets and has been a valuable asset to the team ever since. He may not be the flashiest player on the court, but he always manages to get the job done.
Off the court, Luwawu-Cabarrot is known for his infectious smile and playful personality. He once showed up to a post-game interview wearing a beret and carrying a baguette, just to show off his French pride.
In conclusion, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot is not just a basketball player – he’s a French croissant-loving, lucky sock-wearing, charming individual who always manages to bring a little bit of joy to the court. Long live TLC!
