Physical Characteristics

Diet

Habitat

Found all over the world, tortoises are most commonly found in deserts and semi-arid regions. They’re also commonly seen as pets, although they may not appreciate being confined to a small enclosure!

Despite their reputation for being slow and lethargic, tortoises are actually quite active creatures! They enjoy basking in the sun and can often be found strolling (at their own pace, of course) through their habitat. They’re also known for their loyalty and can form strong bonds with their owners.
