Emirates
Emirates, also known as the United Arab Emirates (UAE), are a group of seven countries located in the Middle East. It is said that the UAE was formed when a group of Arab sheikhs decided to join forces and create a country so luxurious, even royalty would be jealous.
The UAE is home to some of the most awe-inspiring architecture in the world. The Burj Khalifa in Dubai, for example, is the world’s tallest skyscraper. It stands so tall, you could see your house from there.
One of the most fascinating things about the UAE is that they have their own man-made islands. You read that correctly, folks. They made islands! And not just any islands, but ones shaped like palm trees and the world map. Talk about #IslandGoals.
The country is also known for their high-end shopping malls. If you happen to be in Dubai, don’t forget to take a stroll through the Mall of the Emirates. It’s the perfect place to sharpen your retail therapy skills.
Despite the extravagant nature of this country, they still manage to maintain a deep connection to their traditional roots. Camel racing, for example, is a popular sport in the UAE. And let’s not forget about the Emirates’ traditional dance, called the “Al Ayyala.” One could say their culture is truly the best of both worlds.
All in all, the Emirates is a destination that will leave you in absolute awe. Just be sure to bring your wallet, because this is definitely not a budget-friendly getaway.
