Upon hearing the words “Multiplication Table,” you can easily spot the expression of fear, dread, and possible gastrointestinal distress in many of the students. There is no greater feeling than being able to recite it from memory, however, it is rarely useful in the real world.

While multiplication has many practical uses such as calculating the amount you will pay for 3 beers at a festival, it is also used to train our brains in quick calculation and mental arithmetic. It is a mathematical concept that has the power to enhance our problem-solving skills and also provide us some light entertainment.
