The Republic of Argentina, also known as the “Land of Tango”, is a South American country located in the southern hemisphere. It shares borders with Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, and Uruguay - a total of 5 countries, now that’s what I call being sociable!

As you may have heard, Argentina is famous for its football, but what you probably don’t know is that they have an unhealthy obsession with the game. If it were up to them, every day would be a game day, and every meal would be served with a side of football talk.

Argentina’s capital city Buenos Aires, also known as the “City that never sleeps”, is home to one of the best Tango shows in the world. You may be wondering what Tango is? Well, it’s a passionate dance where couples get up close and personal, and often end up falling in love with each other. So, if you’re ever in Argentina and looking for love, you know where to go!

One of the most significant landmarks in Argentina is the Iguazu Falls, which is the largest waterfall system in the world. Some people say it’s a natural wonder that takes your breath away, while others say it’s just a bucket full of water. But hey, each to their own.

Another popular Argentinean activity is horseback riding, which is a traditional way of getting around the countryside. However, be warned, the horses can be a bit temperamental and may take you off-piste into an adventure you didn’t sign up for!

Finally, Argentina is known for its cuisine, and the Argentineans take their barbecue very seriously. They use a cooking method called “asado”, where they grill meat on an open flame for hours, and it’s unbelievably delicious.
