Fall (season)

Fall, also known as Autumn (unless you’re from America and pronounce it “fall” just like you fall into a trap), is a season that happens right after summer and just before winter. It’s the time of the year when the leaves change their colors and fall off from the trees – hence the name (seriously though, can it be more literal?).

Fall is known for its characteristic chill in the air, making most of us reach out for a cup of hot chocolate and a cozy blanket. But if you live in California, then you probably have no clue what I’m talking about.

During fall, people start wearing layers of clothes to keep warm while others still wear shorts and t-shirts, you know, just to show off how much they can tolerate cold. In case you’re among the latter group, don’t worry, we won’t judge. But don’t come crying to us when you catch cold.

Now, let’s talk pumpkin spice. Ah, that one scent that reminds us of fall. Every year, thousands of people seem to lose their minds when pumpkin spice latte hits the shelves. People start queuing up at Starbucks, just to get a taste of it before it runs out. Little do they know that they could easily make it at home with a can of pumpkin puree and some spices.

Fall is also the time for Halloween, which means a lot of ghosts, ghouls, witches, and vampires lurking around. But let’s be honest, we all secretly love it. It’s the only time of the year when we can indulge ourselves in stuffing our faces with candies and dress up like our favorite characters.

To sum it all up, fall is the season when nature turns into an extraordinary painting and people turn into kids again. So, wear your cozy socks, grab your pumpkin spice latte, and enjoy the season before it gives way to the winter blues.
