Fortnite
Fortnite is a popular online video game that has taken the world by storm. It was created by Epic Games and released in 2017. The game is so addictive that players have been known to skip meals, avoid social interaction and forget completely about their existence in the real world.
The game begins with its players being dropped onto an island with nothing but a pickaxe, which means they must forage for materials and weapons to defend themselves from their enemies or passerby’s with nothing to do, but harass you. Luckily, you can build structures like walls to protect yourself, which is helpful because, let’s face it, no one wants to be turned into a human piñata.
In the game, your goal is to be the last one standing, which means you’ll have to think hard about strategy and weapon choices. You can hide in bushes, sneak around in trees, and build towers to gain a tactical advantage, but if you’re anything like me, you’ll just end up running around in circles screaming for mercy.
One of the game’s most notable features is its ever-changing maps that have been transformed into everything from ancient monuments to futuristic cities. It’s like a virtual tour of the world, except you’re armed with a grenade launcher, and every tourist is an enemy. You can also play with your friends in squads or solo, and engage in some good-natured trash-talking to make it a memorable experience.
Overall, Fortnite is a great game that you’ll want to keep playing for hours on end. Just make sure you have some snacks on hand, a pillow for comfort and a strong WiFi connection because you’re going to be in for a wild ride. If you’re not careful, you might even forget to log off and end up playing all night, which is something that we in the virtual world refer to as a “fortnite bender”.
